Default homebrew bike rack tire carrier?

I remember seeing someone that made a bike rack into a tire carrier on here. I tried to search but couldn't find it. can someone give me a link or pic or a write up on how it was done??

Bad idea, wont be strong enough.

You can make a hit mounted tire carrier however. Thats what I am toying with the idea of doing. Mostly out of laziness for not wanting to build a whole bumper.

I thought he was talking about hitch mounted bike carriers. Which would be strong enough for a tire.

A lot of those racks hold up to four bikes. Bikes might be 25-40 pounds each depending on model. My spare 33 MT is like 60 lbs. I see no problem.

It's super simple. Just get some square stock and some plate. Take a few measurements and it's smooth sailing.

exactly full size mountain bikes are damn heavy and we've all seen little peanut cars with them on the hitch on the highway
a tire would be no problem
