High Idle for AX15 / 5Spd XJs

High Idle for AX15 / 5Spd XJs
Hey all,
ive been wanting a high idle switch for my 1999 AX15 equipped XJ. From what I can find online, the ecu ignores this on the 5spds which really sucks.
Is there any other way around this? Where I live we get crazy bone chilling cold (-22f / -30c) and it would help big time to warm up the cabin / keep it warm when at a standstill.
Does anyone one know a way without doing a hand throttle? Perhaps I can find away to mess with the signals going to the idle air controller. Does anyone have info on how the idle air controller works?
