Just talked to Fred. He says the Jeep feels much better driving now. Way more solid than before. So even with close to stock tires the steering brace does make a difference! 👍

Hello Baddad, I've been looking for something like what you're building for my low(er) COG build I've been slowly piecing together over the years. I stumbled across build pics while researching if anyone offered frame tie ins, that also provided steering box support AND allowed for high clearance winch mounting. After seeing what you've come up with, I figured I had to reach out and see what it was all about! I know it's been asked, but do you have any update as to when/if you'll be making these commercially? I'm definitely interested if so. Thanks, Tim

I have them available for $350 plus shipping. Been kind of a slow roll out as far as bringing them to market. Pm me and I we can set it up. Thanks.

SReillyH added Ares Fab stubby bumper ends and a hoop to his BadDadFab Winch Mount.

Turned out pretty darn cool 😎

I was also thinking someone could use these

If you want more bumper coverage. They should just bolt right on 👍

I’ve posted an ad in the for sale forum under miscellaneous and accessories. And I’ve started a Facebook page, Winch Mounts by BadDadFab. Check them out if you’d like! Thanks 😋

Just finished up my install! Love this mount. Looks great and has much greater functionality than other style winch bumpers. I paired the mount with the Ares Fab bumper wings. Check out my build thread for more detail.

Looks great! I’m running the Ares Fab bumpers to and really like the look.

On the pre-‘97 Cherokee’s you’ll need to trim the fender here to fit the Ares Fab bumpers.

So the ares fab wings bolt up no problem? Any extra modification to the winch mount?

Nope, no modification to the winch mount. They bolt right up. I did have to change out the 4 front-most bolts for longer ones with the bumper wings. The ones I installed were 45 mm IIRC.

I meant to ask but never got around to it, do you use the ARES parts for their "Stubby Bumper" or the "Stubby Winch bumper"? They make both the wings and their stinger for either, and I don't think they're interchangeable

Just the Stubby bumper, not their winch bumper.
