I have 2016 Cherokee 75th Anniversary model, installed HID kit, lights work when vehicle is off, I start the vehicle and the lights go off after 2 seconds, I was sent different canbus cables and still the same thing, any thoughts?? Thanks

HID's do not have enough resistance to fool the system into thinking there is an OK old school bulb there.
So adding a harness - taking the load off the headlight circuit - will not help. A resistor may - but it will heat up an must be mounted carefully. Some have left the original bulb, but it in a heat resistant box, black painted it, and just tapped the wire for the harness signal. Seems wasteful and a little sloppy to me.
That's why I just said to try using the parking light signal and a harness, it gets around all that nonsense.
