I have a set of HID headlights with the green LED angel eyes that only stay on for about five minutes at a time. I have bought a new relay thinking that was the issue but it did not help. Any ideas on what it could be?

I'm not sure whether we are talking about the HIDs that won't stay on or the Angel Eyes?

I am in the midst of doing a HID bi-xenon OEM swap on my 99' XJ. I too looked at EBay lights with angle/demon eyes. I like the look if it is done right, but I decided to avoid cheap azz chinese crap over reliability and got a set of OEM Maxima 2004-2006 bi-xenon projector units ($59), to fit a set of Pilot housings. I'm buying the bulbs, ballasts, relay-wiring set up from TRS. Head lights are too important of a safety tool to go cheap (not saying you did, just making a statement). I'll post pics once I get the HID kit from TRS (the retrofit source). It will be A LOT of work, but will be worth it. Maxima's have great HID lights. Huge lens too.
Because you have a set of angel eyes, and we don't know what brand, style, etc. We can't really help you other than say-check the wiring for loose wires. Try running a "jumper" from the working side to the non working side to see if it's the angel eye itself, or your wiring harness.
Side note-
Sick bike PumpinIron. I had a 2002 regular Mille, with a ***** load of mods. I miss that bike!!!

It just depends what you expect. If you live in the "woods" and NEED good lights, do something like me using OEM projectors. That way you most likely are getting name brand, good quality (read
utput). I can't recommend any aftermarket ones from experience.
The retrofit source has a great forum dedicated to doing exactly what you are doing. Morimoto mini's seem to be the easiest to install, with little modification. But it seems that their small size can't even come close to the full size projectors.
I wanted OEM output, I live where they don't like using street lights. I'm just spacing out the purchase over a few months so it's more palatable.
