Nice I like that but I have a sub and tool box in the back and it won't fit.

Here is a pic where I use to have it before I took off my rack

I have a sub in the back of mine as well which really leaves limited room and another issue is the lack of room for a spare tire.(which i dont think you need to worry about) I have heard of people mounting them on there bumpers but im not thinking that is the best idea.

Yeah I don't really wanna drill into my bumpers lol

I wouldn't mind drilling into my hood because I love the look of the hi lifts there but like I said I don't think you an open the hood because it opens to close to the windshield.

I dont see how it wont work on the hood. You have the cowl section and the hi-lift isnt as wide as it.. and the fact the hood doesnt go all the way vertical.

However, i'd make sure the mount was solid and the underside through bolted with a few pieces of plate. Eliminate any chance it'll tear off and become a projectile in a front end collision.

Daily driver-Yes
Awkward- Not really, just slightly before i got rid of the hood prop-rod and installed an old lift gate shock to hold the hood open.
