Hydrogen... Blah... Blah. It's basically a hydrogen fuel cell that puts hydrogen gas and oxygen gas into your intake. Saw multiple stories about a cherokee. Boosts it from 15-20mpg to anywhere from 30+

my dad decided to try it out on his ford expedition.
i decided putting WATER into my engine was a VERY bad idea.
sooooo, my dad ran it for a few months with great results on the mpg's. checked his oil, and low and behold, there was rust on his dip stick. ran straight to ford to get an oil change, and on his way, his rod bearings let loose and he shoved some rods thru the block.
my engine, still gets the same mpg's and still runs....... you wont find water in my engine.
remember your engine internals are bare steel and dont have any sort of coating to stop rust from forming. oil will do it to an extent, until it mixes with water. the it looses its lubricaing properties.

Hydrogen is a snake oil mod.

I've been reading up on hydrogen fuel cells for a while, and there's a few things that seem important to mention. First, water injection is obviously a horrible idea. Secondly, if the HHO gas isn't separated into pure H2 and oxygen, engine rusting can occur. The oxygen is supposed to be separated and vented, while the hydrogen is fed into the intake. A charged Y-pipe will easily split the gas because di-atomic hydrogen holds a positive charge, while oxygen holds a negative charge. Separate, then vent.

Sounds like he should have put some more Lucas in there and used Zero Water for the hydrogen.
DaddyGreen's comment might help a little too.
Oh, and changing the oil every day can't hurt.
