i was driving on the freeway at maybe 65mph..then my rear u joint failed..i got off the freeway and the driveshaft broke off right as i was parking. so i bought a new joint and installed it... and it started ti vibrate as i pushed on the gas from 25-35 mph.. i thought the drive shaft was bent so i went to the junk yard and found one that was pretty decent.. so i got that and bought a new u joint and put that on..it still shakes ..seems a bit worse now.. i know its not death wobble..cuz when i let off the gas the vibration goes away.. the jeep has a 4.5 lift..i dont think the pinion yoke angle is bad because it never did that before all of this happened ..any suggestions would help..i did check and there is no play in the u joint nor the pin things that hold em in.

 

have you tired NEW u joints?

 

yes i did its got a new one on it now

 

what are the angles? I assume you measured them

 

im not sure what the angles are ..i had to take the rear drive shaft off and im running with just the front tires now. it drives smooth with the front drive shaft so i know its not the motor mounts or anything like that. when the rear was on, it never looked like it was binding or anything.
