got mine from ruffstuff last week when they had the 18% off sale. 3/16 grade a beef
I looked at all the companies and these ones looked the strongest and best fitting. HD engineering sells a full set but it's thinner material
worth the extra couple bucks IMO. wait till they have another sale http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/XJRAIL.html

i like the HD engineering ones because they sell a kit that includes the front, mids and rears. yes they are made of a thiner metal but it will still be plenty thick and also not as heavy

Ruff stuff for the main. Liquid iron for the front. The main ones are really easy to make too. I use 3"x3" angle iron. Releif cut, bent, and use a hole saw for rosettes.

My ruffstuff ones will be fully welded. And I'm not sure what the lip is for I haven't gotten around to looking under there yet. But I will have to cut part of these stiffeners off and weld it bak on later. They are not meant to be used with short arms

That lip on the ruff stuff is to bridge from the frame to the floor to prevent stress cracks where the two meet, it helps spread out forces put on the frame

Ok. I was thinking they would be rotated 90 degrees. I thought the part that goes on the outside was the bottom. So why doesn't anyone offer stiffeners that go all the way up the inside too?

besides, if someone made a full U shaped frame stiffener I probably wouldnt buy it because it's a hassle and unneccesary. they'd be more expensive too
