Help!! Snaped dana 30 need ideas!!!
Went wheeling for the first time this year and some how snapped the front axle shaft and lower balljoint and upper got pulled out some how. Luckily it's on my own property so it can sit there for a lil while. What would you do?? I was thinking maybe swap axle out where it sits or try to pull it to flat ground which is over 100 yards away.

The sad part is I was barley using the throttle it's got a locker in the front and I think that was most to blame on destroying it.

Man that sucks if you have to change all that in the water. If you had a Bobcat you can raise that front end up high enough so you can wrench. Dunno how stable a jack would be.

I'd say try to ratchet strap the knuckles back to the axle as tight as you can and drive her out. Then go bigger!

Wow, tough place to to repair a rig.
I'd replace the ball joints and pull the inner shaft. Stuff a rag in the tube to keep the oil in the diff.
Leave the stub shaft inplace.

Getting her 100 yards away may cause more damage. I didn't see if you had a winch. Either way you can build a truss out of 4x4 to lift it with a come-a-long. Replace the lower joint then tow her out.
