Default HELP! Shackle install

OK folks, need about another inch of lift in the rear end so we picked up some RC shackles. Installation looks simple enough, but ... before I loosen those upper bolts I need to know something. Is the nut that those upper bolts go into inside that frame channel fixed in place, either welded or clipped in? Or will I need to get a wrench on those bolts?

I ask because we just got done installing a Smittybilt XRC rear bumper, and BOY was it a PITA! If I have to get a wrench on those upper shackle nuts, the only way I can see to do that is to completely un-install that bumper and get in through those channel peep holes.

So PLEASE tell me those nuts are captive!

Welded but they can break fairly easily. So be careful. Lubricate the nut and bolts if you can
