Default Clutch Gas and Brake Pedal extension.

Being 6-4 I moved driver seat back to be more comfortable. Now with seal all the way back cant depress clutch pedal completely . Anyone ever extend the pedal to solve this.

This is a first for me, never heard of someone being too tall to reach the pedals.

I wonder if there is a way you could change your pedal linkage to have more lever throw and travel?

weld on some one or two inch pedal extentions

I am 5' 8" and i feel like i have to be uncomfortably close to the steering wheel in order to press the clutch the entire way. I someone compensate by leaning the seat back a bit. thats how i drive any other vehicle though. bottom of the seat in with the back leaning back cause i have short legs and cant stand being right against the steering wheel. but with an XJ its a pretty high seat and that changes things

Same here I have the recliner option so im leaned back but still close to wheel. Moving seat back 3 inchs sits me perfect but just cant depress clutch completely.

Went poking around guys... Does this have a flat double L shaped bracket that comes off the shaft with the pin welded to it?

There's those pretty clamp-on pedal pads I see, or used to see, at parts stores and online. That'll gain you a bit on its own and you could probably add a little spacer to get more. I'm thinking about welding on a pad to mine as it's picky and likes to be pressed ALL the way in which is kinda hard for me. I think someone decided that just because they put in a crazy HD transmission it also needed a race clutch to handle the massive Renix power.

Cut the bracket and give it a 1/4" to 3/8" gap and fill it in. Should give you 3/4 to 1 inch more push at the pedal.

Give me a lever and I will move a mountain...
