Alot of ppl worry too much about this stuff, BUT if you have the cash get it done. I have the RC 4.5 and i dont have either but i plan on going bigger (as everyone always does) 4.5+ you'll end up needing the TC drop

maybe, maybe not...

your Jeep is newer, as a result you have the transfer case and drive shaft setup that are really prone to vibrations...

mine had vibes at only 3" of lift...

there are several things that can be done to combat this...

I will start from the cheapest and work my way up...

new rear u joints

t case drop

rear axle shims

YJ slip yoke swap

fixed yoke swap with front d shaft in rear

Usually when you buy a lift like 4" and up they come with a TC drop, even if its only a 1" drop it helps,

Hmmm.. I will have to double check the kit again to see if they come with it.

if not they are easy and cheap to make at home

all you need is some 1" thick steel rectangle or square tubing and drill some holes

you will also need some longer bolts... around 2" or so should work... they just need to be at least 1" longer than stock... grade 5 or better

here is a walk thru
