Default Help! motor mounts with t-case drop?

I started working to replace my drivers side motor mount yesterday and figured it would make it too difficult with the t-case drop in so i pulled that out and lifted the t-case back up to where it originally was and began working on the motor mount. I put the new one in but when I lift up the engine at all the brace on the engine that goes over the mount hits the metal sleeve inside the rubber bushing and lifts it up to so the sleeve won't stay level. It seems the engine needs to be pushed back (toward jeep) about an inch or so? I can't get it to budge or get the bushing to stay level inbetween that engine brace. Any ideas?? I desperately need advice seeing as I am supposed to go wheeling tommorrow with a buddy of mine! Need this done asap! Thanks!

Try loosening all bolts that's holding everything( trans and motor mounts ) then get all the bolts in a few threads by hand ...then go around and do all te final torque

Only do one side at a time!

I had my crossmember removed when I did mine. Support the tcase with a stand and place the Jack under your engine pan. Loosen both motor mounts, but remove only one at a time.

Do your transmission mount too. All three mounts need to be replaced or the ones you don't will wear out quickly.

Man, goodluck. I did this not too long ago and it was horrible. All I can advise is to loosen the passenger motor mount if you haven't already as well as the transmissions mount and have a buddy jack your jack up and down and rotate it as needed until you hit that "sweet spot". It's way easier with two people IMO.

What I did was use two bottle jacks under each side of the board under my oil pan so that I could adjust the height and angle of each side a little bit at a time. Was still a pita but I don't know if I could've done it may other way
