Help with long arm install.
Ok, let's get something out of the way immediately, I am am idiot. Now that that's been said...
I am installing the Serious Offroad Long Arms on my 98 XJ. I needed to move my axle forward about 1" so I did not heed Frank's explicit instructions about chocking front and rear of the wheel. I thought this would be a good idea until I removed the driver side LCA, and the axle moved straight back to the rear of the fender well.
I am pulled straight into my garage with no way to get a come along or anything else in there to pull the axle forward. I am wondering if I can attach my winch and pull it, but it's an odd angle from the bumper to the axle. Any suggestions?

I've had my winch hooked straight up to my TB and my axle trying to straighten a track bar on the trail. I never did get it straight on the trail with the winch after several different attempts. All it did was leave me with a dented fairlead and a kinked wire rope.
Go for it as a last resort. but I bet it will work
