HELP! Fuel-rail/regulator fitment issue when changing from 90 to 2000 intake
Trying to be brief. I have a 90 XJ, I built a stroker engine with a later model stroker, purchased many parts including a horseshoe style intake from later model jeeps to fit the later model engine I built for the vehicle.
My 90 fuel rail doesn't fit onto the horseshoe intake. I have a 97 fuel rail which does fit the horseshoe but the 90 fuel pressure regulator doesn't fit onto it. Anyone solved this problem? Basically I need to find a way to fit my or a substitute fuel pressure regulator onto, more likely inline to, the later model fuel rail.
I've already looked and know the 97-up XJ FPR is a no-go located at the fuel pump.
Thanks,
Phillip
