Must be nice, around here a HP60 front goes for around a grand unless you want the super duty versions.

I picked up a 97 Ram 60 it has hub assemblies that I like since I don't have a Cummings with all that weight to wear them out and don't like the mess of a lock out set up. 4 bolts and the 2 for the caliper and I'm swopping shafts. Not that like I will need to since the 94+ ram 60 shafts are bigger then aftermarket 35 spline shafts they have for other 60's.

Gotcha. I don't care for unit bearings and it's low pinion so not what I'm looking for. I had a 78 model ford that I was going to build but got offered 1300 for it and needed the cash. Just waiting for another to come along and then I'll swap in the 5.38 geared 14 bolt I'm saving to replace my 60 rear.

I gave you good advice on my first post and had to deal with this BS post of other forms. You should be happy I posted to tell you the truth at all. Should have let others talk you into wasting money on something you could never finish. And really your in the field right now. Funny I'm running are 8100 JD with the ripper behind it 5th gear and tearing up 3' of earth. Got to get that water out of the holes. Soo you get that noose made yet???

To each there own in meany respects the 94+ Ram 60 is stronger then the 78-79 snow fighter ford 60's you just have to check your ball joints just like you also have to check your king pins. I run low pinon front and rear. I just have a local shop build my drive shafts with all beef and I will drag them around all day and never brake then drive 6 hours home.. Worse things in the world then scratching the paint off a drive shaft. You know?
