its not a stupid question, people on pirate are...jerks, but they make some awesome stuff, so it would prbly be better to get some ideas from over there cuz they know what they are talkin bout. not sayin that no one on here doesnt

700 for a running j10 sounds pretty good, could just make that the toy or tow rig. hell I would i buy it if it was on my side of the country. Plus you can use 258 to make a stroker

Yea this whole e-**** attitude as I have heard it refered to is quite annoying I thought the whole reason behind a forum was to get a bunch of guys with knowledge together to "help" out all the rest of us retards out here that DNT know what we're doing. And as far as the the using the search option I'm limited to using my iPhone while I'm out in the field and I don't know if any of y'all have tried using search or if I'm the only one with the problem but search is a pain in the a$$ on the iPhone. You type one letter and it sends you to the top of the page then u have to open it again type second letter and repeat until you have finished whatever your searching for one letter at a time

They can be jerks but they have newb sections too that are for people who KNOW basic mechanic skills and just need some fine tuning info. Could try IFSJA.org for full size jeeps

Sounds like the first thing you need to do for you Jeep is pick a lap top for $300 at best buy. If you can't do your own resurch how in the hell will you do thousands of hours of fabrication work??? And how will you dump thousands of dollars into this Jeep if you cant put up the $$ for a cheap lap top?? And that is why people on Pirate 4X4 are d!cks. You have any idea how meany people like you are out there??????? Yes this is me saying you will never do it in you life!!!!

I think what he is trying to say is it's not an easy swap and unless you have lots of time and even more money you can throw at it you prolly shouldn't bother. It requires a good bit of fab skills and tools that most people just don't have. Two years later and I'm still working out the bugs in my swap and don't have the axles I really want. There is a whole lot more involved to a swap than just swapping one axle for another. That J10 doesn't have D60s in it anyway unless they've been swapped in and there is a chance the rear is offset and the front has the wrong side drop. Unless you plan on running a 37" plus tire a D60 is overkill anyway.

Doesn't matter if it is a 44 or a 60 this kid couldn't figure out a leaf spring swap with a YJ D30. I picked up my 60 for $150. If your so dumb that you don't even know how to look a picks and figure it out. It will never happen. Is anyone going to tell me that is kid is going to dump thousands of $$ and spend thousands of hours to do this???? NO
