So I'm putting my lift kit in right now and so far I have the rear shocks out and 3 of the 4 upper bolts have snapped off. I drilled them out and tried my bolt extractor and snapped those off in the bolt. Now what do I do? And I have been spraying with zep 45 since Monday to try and prevent this...

 

As a general rule. If the bolt snaps because its stuck, no extractors will do better. They have more often caused extra work than not.
You can't drill thru the extractors so somehow you will have to get those out so you can drill the the whole thing thru so you can either re thread them or just put a new bolt thru with a nut on the other side. Warning. It's a real pain.
If you can't get the extractors out, you "may" be able to punch them out and the nuts together

I just drilled mine out and all the way up into the hatch. Then put a plate with two holes drilled in it on both spots of the floor and ran long bolts down through. That way you can just put nuts on the bar pin side.

 

take a hammer and punch and knock the nuts out (up), drop in some new bolts with the nuts on the shock side and be done with it. I am pretty sure they are m8 with 1.25 thread.

it is absolutely ridiculous how many people have cut holes in tgeir hatch floor when it is totally unnecessary

Ok I drilled those out and got new bolts now the front leaf spring bolt is giving me hell. I've tried breaker bars, hitting ratchet with hammer, heat and if course Snap on MG725 and she won't budge

 

Anybody have issues with the leaf spring bolts? None will budge and I don't think I want to drill the front one out. The rear bolts I can cut off and replace but the front is giving me all the trouble.

 

Use a jack stand to support an extension off the breaker bar. Then use the biggest pipe you can find

 

Well I don't have a ton of room in there, the axel and drum are kinda in the way. I'm just using my ratchet and the handle off my jack

 

These are all common problems that you're having but the good part is after you do it once, you shouldn't have that problem again.

For that front leaf bolt, put a jack stand under the frame rail to take pressure off the spring and give yourself a little more room under the jeep. Like I ARE EL1TE said, crawl under there with a breaker bar and the biggest pipe you can find. I had to fight my driver's side bolt out the entire way. Use lots of penetrating oil and give it all you got.

I had to chop my front leaf spring bolts off between the outer mount and the leaf eye. Cut the crap out of the leaf eye and the rubber with a cut off wheel and then hammer and crow bar it off the mounting bolt. Then I cut the bolt in half, removed the bolt sleeve that was still on there and wrenched the bolt out with a gigantic pipe wrench. Once it was all done, I bought factory front leaf bolts and they screwed right in. It was no fun at all and took forever. Good luck!
