I know this has probably been asked but I couldn't find anything useful. So recently I noticed that when I hit about 25 mph or the end of second gear that the car starts to shake violently and you can feel it like bad. I don't know if it could be wheel balancing or a driveshaft/ujoint problems. This is my dd so I need to get this fixed ASAP. Anyone have any ideas on what it could be

Front or rear vibration?

The whole damn thing shakes right when I hit the gas in third.. Haha

 

Sounds like its coming more from the rear though

 

check u-joints.

 

Check the rear pinion angle.

 

Does it start vibrating and not stop until you go below 25 or does it smooth out once you get to going faster?

 

Checked the front and rear ds. The front one moves. And it won't go away until I get below 25

 

So I took out the front driveshaft and it still is vibrating the same which makes be believe its the rear u joints

 

rear u-joints, pinion angle, bad tire, bad rearend... can't really narrow it down to just the u-joints.

u-joints are the cheapest part if that's the problem though...

 

How would you tell if your pinon angle isn't right? I know the rear end is fine and so are the tires

The pinion yoke should be pointed directly at the tcase output shaft

Could it also have anything to do with the t case chain? I need I replace it but haven't got to it yet...
