I used the factory like fabric from JoAnns with a couple cans of permatex adhesive. I did the headliner and overhead consoles.

Two points: don't skimp on the glue, and let the glue dry for five whole minutes before applying the fabric, like the can says. It bled through the fabric a bit on one spot
