Do you need a high flow cat to run headers? Also I have been having a problem with mine. I got some pacesetter headers and they sit about 1 1/2"from my front drive shaft and when I hit bumps they hit together. It's not good and my only assumption is getting better suspension. Anything else I can do?

No, you do not need a high flow cat but adding a high flow cat and good aftermarket exhaust to the header will help the whole exhaust function better. As for you ds to down pipe issue, longer/proper bumpstops will help to solve that problem.

I cringe when I hear Pacesetter. You get what you pay for and there's a reason they are the cheapest in price around (I'll give you a hint: Because they are cheapest in quality as well!)

Yea I'm really starting to regret buying these junkers. Nothing but problems since I put them in. I can't hit the brakes or make right turns without them smacking around. I'm trying to buy nice stuff for my jeep but I keep just buying garbage.

Sounds like you need to do more research. Sometimes spending a little more actually cost less in the end.

pacesetter makes decent stuff. the reason they are a problem is because it's an actual long tube instead of a shorty like all of the other ones. they are most likely the best for power truth be told.
