Default Header and Y-Pipe help

Hey guys, just last night and discovered this morning some crackheads tried to cut out my cat. However, and I didn’t know this, my cat is gutted. So I currently have a mangled up exhaust, not clean cuts, and will add two different cuts. I was going to replace my header as it had a crack in it but now I need a y-pipe as well. Not gonna worry about a cat just a cherry bomb to the tailpipe. Any suggestions on a set of headers and y-pipe that fit together(doesn’t have to be the same brand) for under 500. Would use anything EXCEPT pace setter. Only heard bad things about them. Borla is a little expensive for my tastes. Thanks!

Either go oem or spend the money for borla because most cheaper header will warp or crack because they are made cheaply. And i would check your motor mounts when they go bad that can cause the manifold to crack.

went ahead and bought a quality set of headers. Didn’t want to cheap out on those. Also have engine mounts ready to be installed. Had already thought about that and the drivers side is gone. Also got a stock front pipe and a stock tailpipe. Just gimme weld in a cherry bomb and be done with it.

Yeah sounds like your good to go to me.I learned that lesson a cheap headers years ago on fords i had.The cheap ones warped bad or cracked with in 6 months. But when i bit the bullet and bought a pricey set they are 7 years old still sealed and no one crack.
