Header upgrade
Has anyone removed the pre cats after the manifold and used an older jeep header with just the downpipe no o2 sensors, I know it will throw a code and make the dummy light turn on. Wondering if anyone has done this what there thoughts or experiences were. Anyones thoughts for that matter but would love to hear from someone who has. Thanks for reading

I've currently got it off due to other project/repair . They are known to fail on xjs and my buddy has a 94 Zj going to the Jy soon with a Gibson header on it that I was thinking about grabbing and putting on my 00 xj

They don't make a performance upgrade for the 99 to 01 Cherokee bcause of the emissions changes they added 2 cats right behind the ex manifold and than another cat before the muffler.
