header questions
i bought a borla header from a 93 cherokee at a junk yard for 10 bucks but it says it will only fit from 93 - 97 http://www.quadratec.com/products/77601_802_07.htm 93 -97 xj
it looks to be the same but will it not work because of where o2 sensor is or just the way the exhaust was designed so on my 98 the header bolts on exhaust and the 93 appears to clamp on or weld on
http://www.quadratec.com/products/17604_102_07.htm 91 -99 xj

I am not sure why but I would guess it has to do with how the pipes are bent. I installed a header on my 92 that I am thinking was for a new Cherokee. I had to do some mods to get it to fit. In this pic you can see I had to cut out the webbing between the ports.

i bought a pace setter header the o2 sensor bung was under the tranny so i had the local exhaust shop weld in a new bung clear of the tranny. i cut the wires spliced them longer and installed and had no problems
