Now I just have to find a pair of front shafts
Edit: It just dawned on me that I didn't see the tail housing and seal in the package so I went and double checked. Sure enough, it's not in there. But they replied right away and are sending it out tomorrow.

What are the advantages, or disadvantages, to going with a hack and tap vs an entire SYE kit from, say Advanced Adaptors? I can get just the SYE from them for 200 and then use a JY XJ front shaft

Yeah isn't that the Isuzu fan?
To the OP: an sye would be stronger, and I found a good DS on ebay when I did mine.
Or go to Junk Yard and get one off the front of a grand cherokee.
And remember; the manual transmission, and auto drivelines are different lengths.
Just my 2c
