No it doesnt. At 150-200$ you wont find one that comes with a shaft. Most people will go to the junk yard and pull a Front drive shaft off a cherokee and run that in the rear. total cost about 15$ at the junk yard plus the 149 SYE.

oh ok yea thats what the hack n tap comes with from ironrock ill have to look into that sye

Here is what I ordered, came in the mail today. Took four days to get here and was $220.00 shipped to my door. Even came with 4 10 mm bolts to remove the TC drop. If I have time it's going in this weekend. There are tons of web reviews and instal tips on this setup. The Company is full of nice huys, great customer service and there is a guy who works there who is an XJ lover.

242? only thing out there is a H&T
231? all sort of **** out there for ya'.

X2. If have a 231 do a sye and not h&t. A lot of people will argue just do the h&t because of the $ factor but the sye is stronger.
