Default H4 headlight housing question.

I have searched for this question and cannot seem to find it on here.

Ok so i am wanting to upgrade the headlights(fully aware of what all is needed as I did this conversion to my C10).

The problem is I want just a regular 7x6 housing with a clear lens and the diamond cut style back plating. I have scowered ebay for days looking for a set that does not have either the "halo rings" or a stupid blue little christmas looking light in the base.

I dont want projectors. When I did this conversion to my 81 C10 I have no problems finding the set without angel or halo or that stupid blue bulb in the housing.

so does anyone know where I can find a set like this in a 7x6 without the blue bulb?

Also sorry if this is in the wrong section. I tried to follow guidlines.

Avoid the Daimond cut, Sure they look cool but the light output blows.

Upgrade your Headlight Harness and Pick up some E code H4 Housings.

I Run Autopal's in my XJ they are way better then the style you are looking for that I had in my YJ (Which now has Autopal's )

Again, I am aware of the needed harness upgrade, as mentioned also I want a clear lens.

I have looked at autopal, they do not have a clear lens like I want.

I have been running the "ebay special" Diamond cuts with a real glass lens for a few years in my C10 with an upgraded harness and silvainia silverstar ultra's and If it can get any brighter it doesnt need to be because WOW!!! its bright! even with headlights aimed properly people still flash me thinking I have my highs on! which is funny since with those trucks all four headlights are on for high beam which I have literally never had to use!

^ yup as long as they are glass lensed and do not have any form of a blue, or other auxillary bulb in the housing.

They are glass lenses and the only blue you see in the pic is the reflection from the bulb. With a different bulb you won't have any blue showing. I'm happy with the output. Cheap and brighter than stock. Ill try to find a link for you.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007JO...110_SY165_QL70

These are the exact ones I have. It comes with the blue bulbs which gives them a tint but without those bulbs they are perfectly clear.

Also they look nice but Im looking for function. I was simply looking for the same things I had in my truck as I know they worked fantastic.

I have read really good reviews on rampage, hella, autopal and some other top brands for this conversion. but I really just liked they affordability and function of the "ebay diamond cut ones" I got for my truck.

and you think that's ok? They're flashing you because you're ****ing blinding them and they can't see. You're reflecting light all over the damn road

Im sorry but no...My headlights are aimed properly.

they usually flash when I am on a hilly road and there will be an instance where my lights meat their windshield.

it might not have a razor sharp cutoff like high end projectors, but I can assure you my light is not being throw off the intended path.

with an older C10 you have 4 headlights. with lows on only. your top two bulbs which sit up higher are the only ones on, when you kick high beams on all four come on. there stupid bright on highs, as mentioned I never have had to use them.

at 30 feet my lights were aim via aiming device(the old school yet proper way). I am not running HIDs either...just silvania silverstar ultra.

might think things through before you just to a conclusion there bud....just saying. more than welcome to come on down and see for yourself.
