hello all i am new and i just bought a 1993 jeep cherokee and i just installed my H.I.D headlights in it well my truck when i turn my truck off the head lights stay on for a min then shut off well with my H.I.D's they do the same thing but instead of shutting off they start to flicker like police strobes and there is a loud buzzing noise coming from the headlight **** area but if i turn off my truck with the highbeams on which are not H.I.D they turn off normaly after a min

my question is this is there any way to stop my headlights from staying on after i shut off the truck or is there a problem with somthing

I'm guessing there's a way to disable the lights staying on after the trucks off. Find this and your problem will be fixed.

The solution for my 2000 was a relay kit and right before I pull my key out after i have pushed in the headlight switch I tap the my high beam switch, if you dont want to get a relay just leave the high beam switch in on when you turn your jeeps off.

My headlights only do that if I leave them turned on after turning the key off. Have you tried shutting off your lights prior to you shutting off your ignition?

I am having the same problem with installing my hids and was wonder where the headlight delayed shutoff relay is located?

Do all Cherokee's have a headlights delay? My 88 has a delay but my friends 96 doesn't do it. I'm getting hid's for my jeep is there any problem I might run into besides the delay issue?
