Question H.D. No lift Shackle Bracket

Would there be a benefit to add no lift shackle brackets to a stock leaf sprung xj with 1" boomerangs?

It depends on what your shackle angle looks like now. Do you need to relocate your shackle to achieve a nice 45 degree angle? I can't imagine that a 1" longer shackle would make that big of a difference

Factory is nowhere close to a 45* angle. If you want more articulation/droop and a softer ride go for the relo boxes.

I have lift relocators, and honestly they didnt lift it much. The stock shackle angle is terrible... It really softens the rear ride. I have 1" lift boomerang shackles with it, as stock shackles hit it. Overal a great mod for the rear suspension.

The beauty of these is adjustability. Angle is going to depend on where you want to sit height wise. Mine are about 60-70* bc at 45* it sat too low compared to the front. I think anywhere between 45* and 75* is good. Just mho.

A crappy picture but exact set up your talking about. Great quality product and not bad to install. (Didn't have nut inserts yet. And tow strap broken off)

Depends on the angle. I had to play around with mine a bit to find the right hole to work with. (That's What she said chacha chaaa!) :P but this is what mine looked like after it was done.

You just play around and see which hole gives you the best angle
