Default Guessing backspacing by pictures:need help

Hey guys, I'm getting new wheels and tires for my Jeep soon but I've just got one thing to pick, backspacing. My old XJ was running 2" wheel spacers and some lower backspaced CJ rims. Basically they stuck out pretty far: I loved that. I want to pick rims with backspacing that will get me nearly the same look. Anyone wanna take a stab at the approximate backspacing I would need by looking at a few pictures? From what I've read stock XJ BS is 5.5", so minus 2 for the spacers then maybe I'm looking for like a 2.75" BS to get this look?

sounds about right. the best way is to measure the BS of the old rims.....

Also. the farther out you go the more wear and tear on the wheel hubs and ball joints.

about 3.25-4.5 is pretty common for aftermarket XJ rims.

Wish I could measure it, but it was sold over a year ago. I'm aware of the extra wear on parts. Just something I'll have to live with. I just love how it looked, haha. Maybe by the time I order my stuff I'll be convinced otherwise. There was *one* time I hated my old XJ for being so wide, I was going down a hill and realized I was to wide to fit between the trees on the trail. Couldn't reverse so I had to pretty much ride on the sidewalls as they past the trees.

Looks a lot like my 4.5" bs on 10" wheels

for them to stick out that far (2nd pic), x2 on 4.5" BS for 15x10's. I've got 15x8's with 3.5" BS and I'm right inline with the edge of my TJ flares with 31x10.5's. Not the greatest, pic, but you get a good idea.
