3". I think trimmed fenders are coming next. I don't really want to get into buying a bunch more stuff to raise her up anymore.

Damn it!! They look great! I went to order a set last week and they are out of the 31x10.5 for at least 7 to 8 weeks the lady said.

edit: What backspacing are you running on those wheels?

Just so I can be aware: the kgrip is just siping right? The siping in a tire being what allows a tire to grip on snow. The sipes pack with snow and then when the sipes make contact with the snow on the ground, they actually create a bond that translates into grip. Also, hence why your not supposed to spin a lot on snow..

Edit- op- clean XJ man! Those tires look good!

kedge grip is particles of glass and walnut shell they add into the rubber. the shell creates more siping, the glass stays in and makes it grip a bit more.

They said 7-8 weeks for me too but it only took like 4. 3" back spacing on the wheels - jegs d-windows.

I'm about to be placing an order for some of the Guard Dogs in size 285-75R16. Bought a set of 16" rims and some used BWs, now i just need the tires. Glad to see some other folks running them too! They look great. Love the tread pattern...I wonder, if they would use a set of original MTRs to make them if anyone would be able to tell if they're not actually MTRs? BTW, if you buy 4 (or 5 i guess) do they use the same type of carcass to build them all?

You can request a sidewall but they might not be able to get it. I used BFG at ko for the 3 ply sidewall. I also requested that they all match as the most important factor. Customer service is excellent, just ask them any question you may have. They will assist however they can.

Im running 265/70/16 Guard Dogs with Kedge Grip. If you look really close you can see the brown walnut shells and the white looking glass pieces. They surprised me a bit with noticeable added traction and they don't seem to be wearing faster than any other tire i've ran before.

I'm saving up some play money for some 285/75-16 Guard Dogs as we speak, nice to hear more good things about them.

I've been on my 31s from treadwright for about 7-8 months now. They are wearing very evenly. I'm very happy with them. Do great in mud, sand, and gravel.

Once these wear out. I'll probably go up to a metric 33"
