Default Good switched ignition source?

I have been battling fuel pump wiring in my 88' XJ. I've decided to just run a new wire to the back to power the pump and I'll have a switch on the dash. I need to know where the best place to tap into a switched ignition source is under the dash? I'd like to use a switched source because then I don't have to worry about my GF forgetting about leaving it on.

i don't know about other models, but the left side power outlet on my 01 is only hot with the key on. I use this to run my cb and a few other low draw accesories. If you think the pump will blow the fuse you could just use the + wire from that outlet as a switch for a relay with a wire running to the battery. other than that, i believe the coil should have a hot on ignition wire as well you could relay off of.

Ok
So your boogieing down the road, just flying. Out jumps a big ash Deer, got to be a 12 point. Instead of taking aim for the Deer, you swerve. Wind up in the 6 foot deep drainage ditch on your side. Knock the ever-loving crap out of your gourd. While you are in lala- land trying to come to, a small fire breaks out under the hood from spilled fuel. With the factory system its not a real big problem.....but you wired to stay hot as long as the key was on, so the fuel pump just keeps running and running. .

Did I mention the key was on, and you were still snoozing?

There is a correct(racing) way to wire the fuel pump, its run through the oil pressure switch.

Geez, I have not wired a Hot Rod fuel pump in at least 20 years. Let me scratch my gourd and see if I remember.
What I do remember is a 3 wire Oil Pressure switch. Officially its a single pole double throw type switch, sort of wired backwards.

Common leg goes to the fuel pump
Closed WITH NO pressure goes to the starter
Closed WITH pressure goes to fused hot

Believe it or not, I hijacked a sheet of notebook paper and a pencil from my son, drew it "long hand"

Ok, so where do I find the kind of oil pressure switch I need to do this safely? Does anyone have a link to one? Also, can anyone make up a wiring diagram for this? It would be GREATLY appreciated.

Also, where on the block/ head could I potentially put an aftermarket oil pressure switch?

I am going to try to check the stock wiring for a short, but if that fails I am going to use a 3 wire oil pressure switch wired like this:

sorry for the kinda crappy pic. I'll keep this thread updated with more details as I figure things out.
