Default Good shocks

Need opinons on good shocks for a 6 inch lift looking to spdnd bout 200$ a shock i use my truck on off road. Was looking into bilsteins 5160 but it looks like they only make them for a 4 inch lift. The shock that is in my truck is skyjacker not a fan of there stuff to boucey of a ride. The shock i have is 29 inches fully extended. Any info would be great thanks

what do you do with your jeep?

I wouldnt run anything less than a bilstein 7100 or FOA 2.0 with $200 per corner to work with.

Yea thats wat i have in my audi tt bilstien coilovers love them.
The 7100 is a 29 inch shock.

all shocks come in all sorts of lengths. bilstein will even make custom length shocks.

if what you have now are the correct length shocks for your application, measure them and match them up to a new set.

you didnt mention what you do with your rig yet. that has a lot to play in what valving i would reccomend.

most 6" lifts come with about a 12" travel shock using the factory mounting points.

The only way to know the correct length is to remove your existing shocks and flex out your rig so you can measure between the mounts for the maximum extended and collapsed lengths.

That really doesn't mean as much as you might think. You current shock might be way to short or way too long. Measure the rig...Seriously.(pun intended.)
