Default getting a cherokee, need some advice

So i'm picking up a 01 cherokee next week, and it is bone stock (really good condition).

It will need new tires here very soon, and I thought i would go right off the bat with a lift and some bigger tires on it. my question is this- with a R/C 3 in lift, will 31 in tires work with no rubbing? thanks!

also, is there any preventative maintenance that I would need to start doing to it at 119k?

31's would be fine.

Basic Tune up
Change gear oil in both diffs
Start a drain and fill procedure on the transmission
Change fluid in transfer case

31's will rub the lower control arms when you turn tight if they are on stock wheels. The tires will rub the fender flares if you disco the front swaybar as well. I would suggest different wheels for the 31's and a little trimming or a slightly longer bumpstop
