if i have a dana 30 , and dana 44 . both 3.55 and 3.54 stock . will the accomidate 4.88 gears , or will i need a new carrior to hold the gears?

if less than 3.55 i would need a new carrior to my knowledge and the 3.55 will go up to 4.88 , and if i go 5.13 i will need a new carrior . is this correct?

 

dana 30 needs new carrier for 488, search carrier break for dana 44

 

Break for 44 is 3.73 and 4.10 so you need a carrier for both and 4.88 is as low as you can go with the D30.
