Budget lift advice
I can't take credit for this but it's pretty useful to those of you who are building on a budget

Sorry, but that guy is an idiot.
4.5" lift springs go for $50 here all the time. You can get a nice set of lift shakles at juat about any parts store for $35.
I could get that same lift for cheaper, with a better ride and more flex.

Man thats a lot of work. The trip to the junkyard alone is not worth it for me + all the parts. If you are going to buy used coils why not get used 4in coils for an XJ, than 2in shackles and add a leaf ? What is he saving $20 ?
