i'm building my 95 xj it's a 4.0 5 speed running the d30 front and a 8.25 rear currently with the fac. 307's it has 35's on it now but i am dropping to a 33" tire my question is being a 5 speed is lower geared i am going to swap out the 307's for some 355's with the 33's i also bored out tbody and added a spacer and running a cai with dynomax turbo muff for a free flowing exhaust i'm also looking to swap inj. iquess what i'm asking is does any one run this setup or do i need to go futher i will be streeting it and hunting out of it not crawling or extreme trail riding....thanks you opion will be greatly used

 

The 3.55 axle swap is a great & cheap option for any manual! this is my brother inlaws setup, & he's loving it!

Throttle body spacer won't do a darn thing for ya. Totally useless on an MPI engine.

4.10 gear ratio is a better choice with your proposed tire size. Try this:

Some folks claim an increase in performance by using Neon injectors, but I haven't seen anyone post Dyno Results yet. A can of seaFoam used per the instructions on the back of the can should be your first fuel system "Upgrade".
