37's and a d30 are not going to last long btw....

but 4.88's is correct.

my dads old time wheeler said hes been running dad 30 for a long time on his 40 inch tires and havent broke for 13 years. wen i saw him he did say rite gearing will help out. and this is why im asking as far as gearing goes will 4.88 work. i figured they were the rite ones. and if it breaks then lesson learned. but ima tryi this out first, also im broke as **** now. cuz i bought a 10 inch long arm kit and axle and tires. no deep pockets any more

why 10" lift??

you can fit 37's on 6.5" with trimming.

with the 4.88's watch out, the pinion is crazy small it will strip/ break with a good shock load that is what I would be worried about with 37's because the shock load will be huge

here is a 3.55 compared to a 4.56 and your going one lower

here is a 3.55 compared to a 4.88

man a d30 on 37s?

chromo shafts... full case locker... truss... it should last a few runs anyways

on a lighter note this thread has convinced me to go with 4.56 gears if I ever bother to upgrade
