Hello, I have a '96 XJ with a stock rear Axle that I swapped the drums to Discs. The kit that I used was from G2.
I want to buy some replacement Rear Brake pads and I am having Trouble Identifying which ones to get
So far I tried Ford Explorer and '96 ZJ Rear Disc Pads. Bot
Both are quite a but smaller than what is on there now, which came with the G2 Kit.
I can pull a wheel and get detailed pad measurements if needed,
I cannot seem to email G2 or find my kit listed on Summit racing.com any longer or I would ask for recommendations there as well.
Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the Information.
I have not called yet. I will try to find time to do so,
The TerraFlex # 8624 Pads look thinner in height similar to my Explorer and ZJ pads that I already bought.
I will post some detailed measurements when I can get things documented.
I beleive the terraflex 8624's and the '99 explorer and the '96 ZJ pads will all fit the calipers fine, but they are smaller in height than what is provided from G2. -
The Current pads cover most of the Rotor's swept area.
I will update when here when I get more info.
Thanks,
Greg

Here are some detailed measurements:
I installed this kit in ~June 2023 - Don't need to replace rear pads yet. I had a squeaky brake problem that I incorrectly attributed to the Stock G2 Pads provided with the kit. It was indeed my front pads causing the squeal, not the G2 pads or parts. I sorted that and replaced the locked up caliper slider pins and boots in the front and replaced faulty parts with new slider pins, boots and grease. Most of my other vehicles which are old MoPars have fixed calipers, or sliders without caliper support pins and boots, so this is a bit of a learning process with these parts.
Back to the G2 saga and measurements:
Here is the G2 pad: Height of the Pad in the middle of the backing plate is ~ 1.626"
The other 2 pads that I considered for replacement will fit the caliper, but do not have as much swept area on the brake rotor. (details below
Pad #1 is not large enough in it's height: (I am comparing all Raybestos part #'s Here; feel free to interchange the part #'s provided to your typical trusted brand.)
EHT666H Listed for: 94-98 ZJ Grand Cherokee and 97-98 TJ Wrangler
Pad Height:
Between the pad support / "ways"
Pad # 2 is very similar in it's form factor; also not tall enough in pad height.
EHT667H Listed for: 95-01 Ford Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer, and 98-02 Ford Ranger
Pad Height
Between the pad support / "ways"
I'll report back when I get the correct set and share it here.
