Hey guys,

Installed the Putco relay harness a while back on my '96 4.0 manual. Everything works great except when the headlights are on, the side marker and blinker flash out of sync when i use my turn signal. They work normally when the headlights aren't on. Anyone else had any funky issues after installing the harness?

Never heard of that. Make sure your grounds for the relays are on bare metal.

what does it do with just the marker lights on? it sounds like an unrelated grounding issue.

Same behavior with just the running lights. I'll try getting a better ground and give an update later

if it’s doing it without the headlights on i highly doubt the harness has any bearing on it. unplug the harness, try it again and see what happens.

That is normal operation, at least for my '00. When the parking lights are off, the front and side blinker are in sync, and when the parking lights are on, or headlights are on with the parking lights, they are out of sync. Out of sync meaning when the front light is on, the side light is off. This has nothing to do with the headlight harness or grounds--it's a different circuit.

Check near the ECU. There is a cluster of grounds near it that caused me similar issues. If your looking at jeep from the front it's on the backside of the ECU.
