i found a matching axle set for cheap there off of a 76 ford f250 with 4.10 gears thats all i know about them just wanted you guys imput if this is a good set off axles to build up or if i should find a different year to start with thanks guys

76-79 ford axles are valuable years for the front d60 b/c its HP with kingpins, and 35 spline i believe, that about all I can recall

76 was the first year for disc brakes and open knuckle on the front 60 but it's low pinion, didn't go to high pinion till 78. It should also have 30 spline inner and outter, 35 spline inners started in 78 as well. It's a decent axle but I wouldn't pay a whole lot for it.

Didn't see this till I posted about the 60. Still a good axle and first year for disc on it as well. Just keep in mind ford changed the axle shaft lengths about a dozen times in the 70s so swaps are pretty much by year.
