Default Full Swap-96 to 92 Cherokee

Sad day out here in Oregon. I wrecked my 96 Cherokee(not too bad) and found a 92 with a blown motor. I have a lift under my 96 and I wanted to know if most of my parts will exchange or what will and what wont. It all looks the same and people have told me it'll take but others say there is a difference.

Thoughts?

The lift and anything you added to it will bolt right on.The motor will but i think you gotta change out some of the sensors.

I have a 98 motor in my 94 Cherokee. Your swap will work fine.

I finished the swap and the engine is turning over but I'm not getting any spark. Went through all grounds and shows all are connected properly. Some connectors are different and made them work in the end. Fuel pump is not engaging unless i connect power directly to the pump. My engine is not getting any spark even after checking all wires.

Would you say I would need to swap out the computer and wire harness?

Thank you for your time!

You messed with the connector wiring?

Didn't cut into anything but noticed not all are coming together. The connectors for the transmissions was different so I had to change that one out. The fuel pump I cannot trace down and the connecting wire might be something to do with one of them but have not been able to trace it.

Your link shows to very helpful, I'll need to review and see if I'm missing something.
