Default Front seats in back

i was wondering if i could get two more seats that match the fronts and replace the bench in the back? has anyone tried this?

If im not mistaken I think that large hump that the factory one sits on that doubles as a storage compartment might get in the way... however I know summit racing has some lower profile seats that I bet you could modify nicely to fit back there. Or I suppose you could probably cut the sliding mechanism out of a factory one and drop it another few inches that way

Thanks, i was thinking about getting rid of the sliders too, my brother is always back there complaining he doesn't have a headrest lol

If you search on the site, their is a modification to add headrests on the back seat.

You can swap Grand Cherokee rear seats into our Cherokees. It takes a little modification but its doable. There is a write up on here.

There is also a thread on here somewhere about this exact thing I read it a few months ago but I'm a little to drunk to find it at the moment! But it can be done and its pretty sick too I'm planning on running Baja suspension buckets in the rear of mine

it would also help fit my snowboards in the back, you would be able to slide them in between the seats

I did the ZJ headrests because I have a young kid that rides in back
Seemed safer. Seat is still uncomfortable though
