The best set up for driving on snowy roads with an auto locker, [ either full case, or lunch box, ] and a selectable locker, is to have the auto locker in the rear and the selectable locker in the front.
This will let you run on snowy roads with your Cherokee in 4x4 and still be able to turn, a locked front doesn't turn well if at all on slick roads!

as far as I'm concerned, a locked front sucking in the snow is a myth. Just drive with your brain, not your right foot. Learn how your jeep reacts in those conditions. I have never once had an issue with an autolocker in the snow.
