I know theres alot of post on this but I want to do it backwards. I have a 99 and want the old style front. Is there a write up I missed or do people just not do it?
I think the later models have a more rounded front clip. I don't believe they are compatible.
I know this isn't what you want, but I think these are freaking sweet.

It will stick out past the fenders if you don't swap them out as well. Body lines on the sides of the fenders aren't quite the same either.
You can't just swap out a piece or two though, you need the entire front clip. The only thing that can stay is the bumper. It won't be 100% direct swap as some of the holes for screws don't quite line up, but there's nothing difficult about it if you can use a wrench and screwdrivers.

Ill have to try it out. I need new fenders anyway. Was thinkin of doin jeepspeed fenders and the front end swap. I miss the beefy look of my 96 so bad the new ones look kind girly.
