Default front door hinges

Does anybody know of a mod or aftermarket app that will allow the front doors to open more fully? Wife is big girl and has difficulty. Would consider trading in for smaller one, but parts are going to be less expensive. And it's her Cherokee! I really would hate to lose it.

You can unpin the "helper" on the door. It is the small metal bar between the hinges. Be careful if you do though, it will allow the door to open fully an could damage the body panels if the wind catches it and slams it all the way open.

That door check (that little bar) only let's the core stop in a couple spots, the door hinge itself is what limits how had it opens.
To make it open more you would have to cut the stops on the hinge.
Our doors open pretty dang wide though anyway..

Is that different between the 96- and 97+? I thought i remembered that being the limiting factor. But your explanation of the hinge makes more sense.

the hinge itself has the stop.. was considering cutting it off when I modded the hinges for doorless, but removing the little door catch rod gave me plenty of extra room.

Same for both hinges. The check arm is just to allow it to sit half open.
