Gauntlets, dude. Since the welds are rosettes are there any concerns that the stiffeners will rust from the inside out?

 

if you live in a rusty area you will want use some sort of sealer between all your welds. can't hurt.


stiffeners will get you part of the way there. but if you're planning for 1 tons plan to be plating around all sides of the steering box, running a steering box brace, track bar brace, and beefy track bar mount and stout bumpers / crossmember. heavy axles turn uniframes into wet noodles
