Default Foglight switch override?

Im trying to figure out how to override/bypass the factory setup. Currently the fog lights only work with running lights and/or headlights engaged. Ive ditched the factory fog lights some time ago but here's final objective:

I would like to use 4 mini LED flood lights as rock lights. Id like to be able to engage them at anytime whether the runninglights/headlights are on or not. I still have several other projects (Elec. fans, buy roof rack, offroad lights for roof rack, reverse lights, air compressor, etc) so Im not gonna go cutting and fab switch panels until I know how many switches and what all Im needing exactly. SO, I would like to utilize the pre-existing wiring system already in place. I know the factory units utilized 55w systems. Therefore if I use 4 lights drawing 1.25A a piece I should be right at the threshold of acceptable power draw for the factory system. Anybody have any clue on how to achieve what Im after? Or should I just say to heck with it and leave it be.
