Default Florida parked temp.

Ok... 95 xj , hood vents complete, electric fan wired to ignition on complete, can anyone tell me why my jeep at idle standing still continues to reach temperatures over 210??? I get the minimal air moving threw the radiator, and it never reaches the red on the temp guage. I would just like to maintain the 210 and not climb above it parked at idle..

, gunk build up in water passeges, Funk build up in radiator, after market parts.

Itl cost alittle money but I think you should remove Thermostat and call around and find who can flush it. theyl run it on theyre machin for 1 or 2 hours.

Remove Thermostat because its a Blockadblockage durring flushing. Dont trust shop to remove it.

Get it back and install new 190tstat and go from there.

it has years and miles of Passage blocking gunk build up that no aftermarket parts will fix.

For what its worth I did this with my cummins after flushing it myself with all over the counter and grocery store bought products while fighting a running warm while towing issue.
had the shop flush it and noticed a improvement right away. I waisted lots of time in flushing aswell as money in flushing product.

If you don't know for sure what shape the water pump is in you might want to pull it and see if the impeller is still functional. Seems like more than a few folks have found that the vanes tend to rust off after a few decades.
